Recommended sampling frequency:

  • Lube at every preventative maintenance. Trend analysis requires constant sampling.
  • Coolant minimum once per year.
  • Analyze fuel as needed to winterize fleet, maintain fuel storage tanks, and verify fuel quantity.

Basic Oil Analysis
Basic testing monitors both the unit and the fluid for wear and contamination.

Advanced Engine Oil

Diesel Fuel Analysis
  • Fuel analysis determines if the fuel is negatively affecting fuel filter life or engine performance — premature filter plugging, loss of power or poor injector performance. Testing bulk storage tanks confirms that fuel meets ASTM D975 #2 diesel fuel specifications.

Coolant Analysis
  • Regular coolant testing evaluates metal movement, and the corrosive attributes of the coolant itself. It can also pinpoint the source of combustion gas leaks, electrical ground problems, localized overheating and contamination.

Hydraulic Fluid Analysis
  • This kit is designed to monitor both fluid and system cleanliness for wear and contamination. It includes Particle Count for systems that operate under extremely close tolerances and Particle Quantifying for systems where the type of wear occurring is the biggest concern.
